The design of the special vehicle provides protection of personnel, fuel tank, and battery when exposed to destructive factors of weapons. The saloon protection class, including the roof area, is Br2 according to GOST 34282-2017.

The compartment for transporting valuables (hereinafter referred to as the storage compartment) has a level of protection against damaging factors of weapons – Br1 according to GOST 34282-2017.

The windshield, front and rear doors of the left and right sides of the vehicle correspond to protection class Br2 according to GOST 30826-2014.

The windscreen is bend glass with electric heating and a timer auto-off relay (heating for not more than 30 minutes).

Mechanical and electrical interlocking of the security doors. The lock occurs when the door is closed, including when the engine is not running. The door lock switch panels, acting separately for each door, are located in the driver's work area in the middle part of the instrument panel.
Installation of open loopholes in the windows of the driver's and/or passenger doors. The design of the loopholes excludes the possibility of opening them from the outside.
