There are options for hidden armoring of vans performing security functions, or a VIP version of a van for the transportation of particularly important persons or customers who want to transport a large amount of money or valuables with increased comfort and under the supervision of armed guards.
A Ford Transit with an all-metal van body is used as the basic version when creating cash-in-transit vehicles.
A complete set of armor protection:
An armored capsule is created inside the basic vehicle, protecting the interior along the perimeter in vertical planes, the roof and the floor.
All vehicle glasses (including the front, side glasses of the cab and the cash-in-transit compartment) are armored.
Wheels assembled using the RunFlat technology, allowing you to continue driving in the complete absence of tire pressure.
All factory systems of the vehicle in terms of passive safety and driver assistance are preserved (ABS, ESC, BAS, etc.).
Circular protection of the fuel tank.
It is possible to choose from several versions of the vehicle with a front, rear or all-wheel drive, as well as an engine of the required power: 125-155 hp. Thanks to the thoughtful and modern design of Ford Transit, armored vehicles on this base are endowed with a high degree of reliability.
On the basis of the FORD TRANSIT vehicle, various versions are possible using the hidden body armoring technology:
- a short, medium or long base,
- a low, medium or high roof.
A wide range of options for the overall dimensions of the base chassis provides an opportunity to offer the customer a special vehicle taking into account the specifics of its transportation.
The side door is made in the following options:
- an armored sliding door,
- an armored swing door that opens outwards,
- a non-armoured sliding base door with a swing armored door opening into the the saloon.
The layout and layout solutions of the cash-in-transit (passenger) compartment are agreed with the customer according to his requirements.
The upholstery of the cash-in-transit (passenger) compartment after booking is made with high-quality wear-resistant materials.
Suspension:
Replacement of standard springs with reinforced ones designed for increased vehicle weight.
Replacement of standard shock absorbers with reinforced ones designed for increased vehicle weight.
The braking system:
Brake pads with increased heat resistance and increased coefficient of friction.
A single set of SPTA:
- a fire extinguisher,
- an auto first-aid kit,
- an additional engine air filter,
- an additional saloon air filter,
- an additional set of brake pads for all wheels,
- a set of safety fuses,
- a tow rope,
- a spare wheel (a "space-saving tire").
